Last year Sergio Altamura re-released his debut album Blu on Candyrat, and I happened to really like it. I asked Sergio about re-visiting the music on it, and it’s relation to his second album Aria Meccanica.
After listening to Pino Forastiere’s latest album From 1 to 8, and being blown away by his amazing technique and beautiful compositions, I became intrigued by his intentions behind writing the etudes that make up the album. So naturally, I asked:
